Batts Ferry Log Cabin is the Cabin of the Month!
Hello March and all of this amazing Spring weather we are having! With a new month comes a new cabin of the month special!
Batts Ferry is a much more modern version of a log cabin indicative of 1848. It is named in honor of the Batts family, which ran a ferry at the Brazos River on land neighboring 7F Land and Cattle Company. Shortly after the ferry was in motion, the small community of Wellborn was formed.
The screened-in front porch includes two rocking chairs and a domino table, perfect for enjoying a cool Spring evening. Or feel free to hang out by the firepit. Wood and even fire starter are included!
Batts Ferry is one of our coziest cabins, with an interior of log walls and an amazingly comfortable king sized bed.
Enjoy the large round 2–person Jacuzzi tub set in the middle of a wooden water cistern while listening to some of the best country classics.
We are all about completing the experience for our guests. Which is why we recently upgraded our cabin amenities to include The Los Poblanos Lavender product line. Not only can you enjoy the products while staying but, you can even place an order while on property to take fresh products home with you! Our goal with adding this amenity was not only because its an amazing product but because we feel the need to be as eco friendly as possible. After guests leave the cabin, amenities will be refilled for the next guests to enjoy!
Each of our cabins are uniquely themed. And not only from us! In Batts Ferry Log cabin you will notice Texas decor and history sprinkled throughout. But you will also notice the abundance of bottle caps and wine/champagne corks left behind. We invite our couples to leave behind the memory of their stay. You will see them stashed in some of the most creative ways. Some even signed with names and dates. Come brush up on your Texas History this month!
